Important point in development of new sources of power or application of existent power sources to new widespread application is to achieve grid parity. This point means that the electricity generated from alternative energy cost equal to or less than the price of purchasing power from the grid, the point at which it becomes a contender for widespread development without subsidy support. Grid parity is recently commonly used in the field of solar power. This is due to a dramatic reduction in the capital cost of related equipment that took place over the last 12 years, when the price of electricity from these sources dropped about 25 times. The wholesale cost of solar modules dropped approximately 70% over the last 3 years which working with our partners JLANKA being able to pass directly to the Sri Lankans. This rapid reduction in price is unprecedented in the industry and solar energy can now be applied to markets which were not earlier targeted. Solar power systems have a major advantage in terms of scalability. Compared to most sources, like wind turbines or hydro dams, PV can scale successfully to systems as small as one panel or as large as mega watt scale. Residential power is more expensive than commercial wholesale. Thus, it is expected large demand for residential Solar systems in the near future; JLANKA as a well established solar system provider is supporting our customer need with most appropriate technology which provides the unique ability to upgrade solar system even with different rating or with other manufactures' solar panels. Day to day life we spend large percentage of the income on essential items and hardly any provide a real alternative but today solar electricity provide a real alternative to your energy need. The sun' energy is free and is abundant. This also makes the solar system attractive investment.
