When it comes to solar energy the best thing about it is that it can be used to power portable devices like a calculator, battery charger, Solar radios, solar cookers, portable solar refrigerator, outdoor lights and batteries, and UPS and generators etc. The list is wide and new alternative energy products are being made daily. This is not only because solar energy is available almost everywhere around the globe but it's also convenient. How is this eco- friendly? Looking at all these devices they require batteries made from lead and other compounds. Once the batteries were used they needed to be discarded.
