Solar PV panels installed on SPencers roof
The Spencers had several quotes for installing a system before they contacted us. They had decided to use another contractor but were still unsure they were doing the right thing.
When we carried out a visual survey of the property it was immediately obvious that it was a challenging installation as the roof was steep. We designed a scheme that would allow 18 panels to be installed, which surprised the family as other companies had said the space only allowed for 10 panels.
Installing the solar panels
It then transpired that they were about to place an order with a company who said they could get 12 panels on the rear roof, but didn't mention that this faced north! It was easier to install, but totally useless for a Solar Photovoltaic system!
In the end they decided to opt for 16 panels and they are very happy with the results.
